What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. This is information you choose to send us.
• Technical data when you submit the form: a one-way hash (HMAC-SHA256) of your IP address, used only to limit repeated submissions, and your browser's user-agent string. We do not store your actual IP address with your enquiry.
• Server logs: our web server and application keep standard logs (request path, time, status, error details) for security and troubleshooting. Application log files are deleted automatically after 180 days.
• Calculator inputs: the figures you enter into the Income Tax Calculator are processed to produce your result and are not stored in our database.

Cookies

padmindia.com sets a single first-party session cookie ("padm_session"). It is used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery and to show you the result of a form submission. It expires after two hours of inactivity, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and contains no personal information. We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and aggregate usage trends; no third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking profiles are used.

Application logs are removed after 180 days. Market and government-update data shown on India Today is public information and contains no personal data.

We will act on genuine requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal duty to retain records. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, uses prepared database statements, escapes all output, protects forms with anti-forgery tokens and sends a strict Content-Security-Policy. No security measure is perfect; if you believe data has been exposed, please tell us at info@padmindia.com.
